Damn it.

My teachers told us to stay home if we are sick. I did! I have a doctors note too! And now one of my professors wont let me make up a quiz i missed! That could be the difference between being accepted into clinicals or not! I am PISSED. UGH!

I do have strep throat. Missing school today. A test and a speech. Ugh. FML.

Easter

I have a sore throat. Word is, strep is going around. Pleaaaaase NOT ME! ugh. Tomorrow I work 11:30 am. I asked for 6 am (so Id be out on time for dinner with my family) of course, i didnt get it so i had to give 5 hours to someone else so I could be at my grandmas. She would have a broken heart if I didnt come. My management is so annoying, they dont care about anything except their own days off! Anyway, Happy easter everyone.

Dancing Samson

Today I was dancing in the kitchen. My dog sam, was confused by this and started hoppping at me. He eventually had his paws in my hands and was dancing along with me :) I love my dog.

Smoking Nurses

How can anyone want to be a nurse without trying to be an example of healthy living? I noticed that roughly 60% of the people in my nursing courses smoke!! Does this make any sense? Being a fat nurse is one thing... but smoking! Come on! Holistics class assigned us student nurses to start one healthy habit ( I gave up soda pop) in order to move more toward a picture of health. NO ONE gave up smoking. People are dumb. Someone who doesnt follow health advice has no right giving it out, is all I'm saying..

Nursing School is making me crazy.

Hence, my title of needing TLC.  I made this blog for me to vent in. I complain alot and thought it would annoy my hunny less if i put some of my complaints in here instead of jamming them into his ear. :)

Im doing a speech today on bride abduction. Isnt that crazy? In some countries men just pick out the girl they want to marry and kidnap her. If i could do that with men, id have a few husbands by now. Haha. Not really funny when its real though...
